It's been a mild Michigan winter so far. Very mild. We had an eight inch "snow event" days before Thanksgiving, but that's the only real signs of winter so far and any evidence of its presence left within mere days. Winter is looming, though, and eleven days in Alaska was a reminder of what we might find once our car-free winter asserts itself.
